Hi! I'm Hope/Odds (internet names only), admin to 271Daily and spines-scorelines.

My hockey story is short and sweet: I grew up in a hockey-loving family, and my personal obsession with hockey took off after I attended a CHI-WPG game on December 7, 2024. My journey with the Sharks officially began on October 5, 2025, when I downloaded Tumblr for the first time. However, I believe the first time I watched the WillMack podcast was sometime in May of 2025!

In case this changes your opinion of me...

If you are a Vegas supporter, do not come to my town.

In my spare time, I play piano and clarinet, read, do jigsaw puzzles, crochet, and watch hockey (obviously).

I'm doing my best to figure out Tumblr, but pardon me if I fail :)

The difference between my two blogs is as follows:

271Daily is where I do most of my posting; all of my creativity goes into this blog (I'm not creative at all).

spines-scorelines was my first blog, where I pretty much just reblogged anything I wanted with whatever tags I wanted. Yeah. I do have most of my botg content on there, as well as a really good fic rec list in case anyone is interested!

I also love to yap about hockey and life, so please come talk with me. I beg you.

Yes! There are quite a few! One creator who has a lot of great deep-dive lore posts is @alltimecharlo, compiled in this masterpost (I'm not positive whether or not this post is fully updated, so maybe also try searching lore in the blog search for the creator!)

This amazing new post has a very in-depth archive as far as WM's rookie years go! It's also very well sourced with links and timestamps. I would say this has the expansive and detailed lore if that's what you are looking for.

Additionally, this is a great quick read if you are just getting into Willmack!

it’s because gabe has the natural toxic yaoi height difference with matt rempe that mack yearns to replicate with will

however, mack doesn’t use the vizion 2, he still uses the og vizion. this stick was most likely sent to mack for the olympics from cmm, made to his usual stick specifications but just skinned with the updated graphic design. stick manufacturers have done this for the big international events like 4 nations (funnily ccm sent team canada all their custom canada edition sticks and none of the ccm players used them then as well lol). mack did use his usual vizion stick as well as a team canada vizion stick at 2025 worlds but he didn’t switch it up at the olympics this year (also 71 was used on mack’s stick at the olympics even though he was using 17 as his number)0

soooo in conclusion, will does have a very special limited edition custom team canada olympics mack stick !
