i pondered my orb on this one for a long time and i know some will disagree but here's #mytruth

i don't think mack is really a bottom, probably more versatile but prefers getting fucked cos it takes him out of his head. he's also not particularly submissive, he just ends up (maybe on purpose) with people who have the capacity to push him to that point. mack seems like a guy who takes a lot of energy to be with and it's probably easier once you wear him out, wear him down. i think he's probably needy as fuck in bed, in more ways than one, and once he learns the words to describe what he likes, i can imagine him directing his partner like a bossy little powerbottom.

misa also isn't strictly a bottom, i don't think he thinks much about it, and he isn't submissive in the classic sense (in this very specific situation. ask me another time and i'll tell you he would cry and beg and lick sam's nasty slides. who's to say?), but more just so chronically passive that almost anything goes. the guy just wants to get his dick (his hole?) wet, and if that means following a few orders or getting slapped around a little, he can deal with that, doesn't mind it or anything, just doesn't need it.

mack and connor's relationship is so interesting to me. it's in the corner of almost evey mack-centered relationship i write about. connor has always been around, and mack's always been so competitive that any guy around his age who can puck as good as he can is a threat. he treats connor as such, but connor doesn't harden around him because of it, he sees how soft mack is, and how he needs someone who won't punish him for that, but also won't entirely put up with his self-inflicted bullshit. in my longfic (wip, i swear), connor kind of ribs mack in a way that reminds mack that he's just a kid, that they're all just kids. (youth hockey is my #1 opp) mack never has anything smart to say back, so it turns physical a lot of the time, fists moving faster than his tongue.

i'm interested in your ick perspective on misa. he seems like a polite young (autistic) man. i've been following him since just after the draft and was around while all the narries painted him as manipulative for supposedly manipulating the sharks org so he didn't have to play college puck, which is just. i can talk about it at length but i don't want to. i don't see much evidence of him being more evil than any other 19 year old boy. (prime example is when he and his gf split, he followed like 10 baddies + 1 random jacked man on ig and was never seen interacting with any of them publicly) (coping if you ask me)
