This year's International Earth Day is dedicated to preventing further plastic pollution.
Plastic is used largely in the food market, most of which is processed food.
This year we can all do our bodies and the earth a favour by reducing the amount of processed and packaged food we buy and consume.
Try loose vegetables instead of pre-packed
Try paper bags or cardboard boxes (when necessary) instead of plastic bags
Try bringing your own cup to Costa/Starbucks/etc. instead of a takeaway cup
