Singapore's Central Business District comprises the core of Singapore's financial activities and thus includes many important and significant financial buildings. There are many skyscrapers in the Central Business District. Skyscrapers in the city include the relatively new ones such as the UOB building. In the city centre, there are more skyscrapers and fewer shophouses. Despite the fact that there is a height limit of 280m, these skyscrapers are so dense that the density of offices here is among the highest in Singapore. Dreilinden or Checkpoint Bravo is a former border crossing between West Berlin and East Germany. The checkpoint was located on the motorway A 115 known within Berlin as the AVUS. The checkpoint was the nearest motorway border crossing point to the Helmstedt-Marienborn border crossing ("Checkpoint Alpha") on the border of West Germany, making it part of the shortest highway transit route between West Germany and West Berlin. The checkpoint was shifted slightly during 1969 from Drewitz (part of Potsdam), after the East German authorities realigned the transit route to eliminate a brief reentry into GDR territory before transit traffic could finally enter West Berlin. The new checkpoint was relocated to Nikolassee part of district Zehlendorf. The vast site of the East-German checkpoint was eventually converted into a commercial park named Europarc Dreilinden. The Changling Tomb (Emperor Yongle's Tomb) is the joint burial mausoleum of Emperor Zhu Di (1360-1424), the third emperor Yongle of the Ming Dynasty, and his empress Xu. Starting in 1409, the underground palace and above ground structures were completed in 1427 and cover 12000 square meters – making it the largest among the 13 mausoleums in Tianshou Mountain. The Great Wall of China is an ancient wall in China. The wall is made of cement, rocks and powered dirt. It was built to protect the north of the empire of China from enemy attacks. It is the longest structure humans have ever built. It is about 21,196 kilometres (13,171 miles) long, 9.1 metres (30 feet) wide and 15 metres (50 feet) high. The earlier sections on the wall are made of compacted dirt and stone. Later in the Ming Dynasty they used bricks. There are 7,000 watch towers, block houses for soldiers and beacons to send smoke signals. Nineteen walls have been built that were called the Great Wall of China. The first was built in the 7th century BC. The most famous wall was built between 2260–200 BC by the first Emperor of Imperial China, Qin Shai Hong. Not much of this wall will remain as people have been stealing from it. It was much farther north than the current wall. Aoraki Mount Cook National Park is home of the highest mountains and the longest glaciers. It is alpine in the purest sense - with skyscraping peaks, glaciers and permanent snow fields, all set under a star-studded sky. According to Ngai Tahu legend, Aoraki and his three brothers were the sons of Rakinui, the Sky Father. While on a sea voyage, their canoe overturned on a reef. When the brothers climbed on top of their canoe, the freezing south wind turned them to stone.
