Berlin is not knows for its architecture or historical landmarks, but as well as an atmosphere and way of life that no other city can match you have some majestic and beautiful buildings with significant historical importance that should be seen.  

For the @zeit editorial by Alard von Kittlitz on seeing the world as tourist in his hometown Berlin I photographed one of the most iconic buildings in Berlin. Photo Editor Lara Huck asked me to capture newly reimagined images of Tiergarten, Altes Museum and the Fernsehturm. The Fernsehturm is part of our collective conscious we are bombarded with its mechanical reproduction but I tried to capture this icon anew. I wanted to reveal these places in the mind's eye of a person walking, a Flâneur, encountering them as if an explorer or wonderer with objects, other people or even sunglasses obscuring the view of these monuments.
