I think the reason why panic at the disco didnt age as well is you listen to all these catchy songs as a middle schooler but then you go out into the world and try a shot of liquor or have sex or go dancing and see a drag queen somewhere and youre like oh okay cool and suddenly a 17 year old recently-ex mormon's approximations of those things just dont have the same kick.
