They get over a thousand requests for connection a day, but their email inbox is regularly sitting at 300-500 eSims. With the bombardment of Rafah and continual internet blackouts, the need for more eSims is particularly urgent.

Even if you have already sent an eSim or donated to an eSim donation drive, there is more you can do. The team is calling for people to campaign in their communities to help spread the word about eSims and encourage donations.

You can help by printing out posters and putting them up in local businesses, on telephone poles and notice boards, or wherever people are likely to see them.

There are quite a few who view the working conditions these artists are in as at least somewhat toxic. Who think they're overworked. Yet you do have fans who view the unwillingness to not be overworked as not wanting it. Rather than having boundaries and knowing there's more to life than work.

You ask me? Switzerland and Sweden have the right of it as far as work-life balance.

Yet here in the states, "grinding" and working yourself to the bone is viewed positively. You have people out there who think Beyonce is great because of what she puts herself through at times. Who think "they have it better than others, they should put up with it".

Maybe you remember me, I was new in spn fandom in 2020 after Castiel went to superhell and I got word that Supernatural (which I originally watched only to s3) still existed and had just ended, found out about destiel and that became my hyperfixation throughout the pandemic (yes I know we're still in one. I actually think about my spn fix-ít ideas from time to time I may never leave superhell completely)

I stopped posting a couple of years ago because October 2023 happened. Suddenly talking about fandom stuff or like Misha being straight while the genocide in Gaza was so atrocious and disheartening felt impossible. Talking about anything casual really, I just couldn't. At some point I came across a post relating ways we could help Palestine and they mentioned there was probably a BDS organization in my town and I could search by country and find a local group to join and I did. I joined BDS and I've been doing whatever I can there these 2+ years.

As part of BDS I worked on an exhibition that highlighted common issues, parallels and a shared history of systematic violence between Palestine and Colombia. This year I wanted to expand on it so I applied for a new grant the Ministry of Culture was offering under Gustavo Petro's government which was very vocally in solidarity with Palestine. This next iteration has workshops, a virtual platform for the exhibit and an art collab between palestinian and colombian artists. We won the grant (there were 9 winners) and now have half of our budget!! yayyy

But. As you may have heard, things have changed in Colombia and now we not only face a zionist, fascist government, but some of the funding for projects and art and events in solidarity with palestine backed out, at the same time a lot of our collectives are starting to get threats, things are getting violent so fast and the new fucker isn't even up there yet.

So I come here asking for help because this exhibit and these workshops, these project of sustained organizing against complicity not only in Palestine but also in Colombia, this needs to happen. I need to do this, we need to make a stand. But although we secured half of the funding, the other funding we hoped to get and that we thought was almost certain, now will not come because of the change of government.

Now, I have worked on this before and I know this is going to take most of my available time really and the funding that we lost was partially to sustain ourselves while working on this. Im unemployed rn I'm not sure what will happen for me in terms of money or a flexible job that lets me work on this project for the next three months, I'm trying to keep my calm, we are applying for more funds but Im asking if you can help me with some pocket change in the meantime so I can keep working on this.

We need a powerful army of the countries that do not accept genocide. That is why I invite nations of the world and their peoples more than anything, as an integral part of humanity, to bring together weapons and armies. We must liberate Palestine.
