Massive consumption have left us thousands of different natural landscapes full of trash.

I have been working with these landscapes, with the garbage and littering to show what is happening around the world with this important problem.

The project “Yes We Trash” want to show all these images. The hashtags #YesWeTrash and #Itrash want to collect all the images that people around the world want to send to show up all these “trash images” and connect them into an Art Project.

If you want to be part of this project and be featured. You just have to follow the instagram account @yesWeTrash and hashtag these images with #YesWeTrash or #Itrash

The images must have your own selfie or a person with garbage, littering, problem with waste, trash…

The color of the waste is becoming more and more colorfull, while the color of the human fades into greys. If we stop the waste maybe we will recover our color. This shot was taken in Tenerife island (Spain) at the waste management institution in 2013.

Carnavales de Tenerife 2016. El Carnaval es la Calle.

“El carnaval es la calle” es el lema que se utilizaba hace unos años para defender el derecho a celebrar “nuestro” carnaval, el carnaval de Tenerife en la Calle.

Miles de personas salen cada noche a celebrarlo.

En esta ocasión yo también salí, al igual que el año pasado para retratar la calle.

El Carnaval es la Calle, la calle es basura, luego… ¿el carnaval es basura?.

Proyecto artístico generado para denunciar la cantidad de basura que generamos y el descontrol ante el consumo masivo de productos y producción masiva de envases no reciclables ni biodegradables.

iTrash iBasura Desarrollando el concepto escénico

Parece que cuando te pones a algo con intensidad todo a tu alrededor se predispone para que suceda.

Como os comenté en el post anterior este otoño estuvo cargadito de formación y de desarrollo de mi propuesta escénica. En concreto y gracias al laboratorio Inéditos empecé a fondo a desarrollar el concepto de iBasura.
