If u feed chongyun a dish with chilis as an ingredient, he separates from ur party and goes off on his own to kill things (with the weapon/artifacts/talent levels he had before). He wanders aimlessly around the overworld, and to bring him back to your party to be playable again, you must hunt him down and beat him in a fight. After that he requires 12 irl hours to recuperate and be playable again and for each irl hour he was missing for, you have to pay 5k mora to cover any damage he may have done. If he gets defeated by an enemy before you bring him back, then you will find him passed out somewhere random and wont have to fight him but everything else still applies
