I need y'all's perspectives on something.

My mother is making me feel like I'm completely nuts. She lives in a lovely 1937 home and has always said she loves living in a historic home. However, her kitchen is quite small and the appliances are so dated, the replacements won't fit in the spaces. Therefore, she's doing a bit of a remodel.

She sent me the light fixture she wants to put in the center and It. Is. Horrible.

What fever exists that is powerful enough to overcome Wentworth's utter devotion to Anne??? You think Captain Frederick 'I can distinguish the tones of that voice when they would be lost on others' Wentworth would ever mistake someone else for Anne? You think Captain Frederick 'I have loved none but you' Wentworth can be beat out by a fever? His SOUL was PIERCED you guys! His SOUUUUULLL!!! Who cares what is happening to his body! No fever can overcome the truth of his soul!

AND NOT ONLY THAT but why would Elizabeth permit a fevered Wentworth to kiss her? You're telling me that Wentworth is so delirious that he just grabs her and kisses her by force? You're telling me that a man who was willing to MARRY a woman he did not love just because it might be kinda rude if he didn't was capable of kissing a woman without getting her permission first? I am 100% certain that he gets Anne's permission to kiss her. You cannot convince me that a man with this level of ridiculous Respect Women Fervor could have that overcome by a fever.
