A TADC x Project Hail Mary AU

Been doodling up an AU where Kinger spawns into the circus with no memory and all the C&A members have already abstracted. Kinger and Caine have to work together to figure out how to un-abstract the humans while dealing with an unstable circus!

Caine starts out as an alien-like red circle who can’t communicate with Kinger at all– Kinger has to tell him stories (aka feed it data) so he can develop a language model

Caine designs an avatar so he can interact with Kinger just like how Rocky makes armor to hangout with Grace

Kinger & Caine have to figure out how the humans arrived at the circus by searching through the circus' memory logs– but something seems to be preventing Kinger’s access to his own memories. Almost like someone has coded a blocker in without his consent….

After a lot of mishaps and misunderstandings, they create a strong bond. However by the time canon starts, they find the answers they're looking for and Caine does something he’ll deeply regret

i'm THE #1 alastor hair hater-- but i had the exact same haircut in middle school...ik how horribly it sticks up

i was scrolling through my procreate drafts (definitely not procrastinating hw...) and found this sketch from august-- oh summer and free time i miss you, but not as much as alastor is missing luci in this fic 💔

this thumbnail is based on @gotfancyhat's heartwrenching fic Where the Light Doesn't Reach, which re-reading after the finale fits SO well. i doubt lucifer is handling the stress well in the aftermath of becoming a battery and killing half the pentagram 😭
