It's his year

I reblogged this last month, tagged it, and said “might as well see if it works.” I used this video as a reference to find all the forms that i needed (which is A LOT, especially if you’re a dependent) and sent them through the mail, not really allowing myself to hope.

I went to go get ready for bed and I found an ant stuck in my shower. And I don’t mean “stuck” as in, like, just wandered into the shower and couldn’t find its way out again. I mean the little fucker somehow climbed up to the top of the shower, and somehow got its head stuck between the caulking and the shower head. I could only see its stupid little butt and legs flailing around. Now normally I don’t have as much care for ants as I do other insects, but seeing how much distress this ant was in over being stuck in my fucking shower, I was overcome with pity and decided that I had to rescue this poor creature.
