INTRODUCTION
hey! im ash (he/they) and this is not an art blog it is an everything blog. i dont believe in things like "organization" and i post literally everything i care about on here. there is no signing up for only my art. you get all of my bullshit or you get none at all.
im audhd and have very bad anxiety, so i have all the usual communication problems. i often dont convey my tone right over text, and can sometimes come off as more blunt or hostile than intended, and i also sometimes will misunderstand things other said. i apologize in advance for any misunderstandings. i ALSO apologize if youre someone i think of as cooler than me, because if you try to talk to me i will sound like im on the verge of a panic attack because i am shakey and bitey like a small dog. please be patient.
im agender and aroace, and you will hear me complaining about allos very often. i swear i dont hate allos i just think amatanormativity is evil and fictional relationships instantly become boring the second you decide its just romantic and most "secret third thing" fans are fake. thats all.
i love hearing things from people, and i welcome asks from anyone who wants to shoot one my way! but i also do not like receiving asks from people who arent my mutuals. that kind of one on one interaction exhausts me mentally extremely easily, and i prefer to keep it to only my friends and mutuals.
i accept art requests! i have guidelines linked at the top of this post, but because i have had bad experiences with them, im going to say upfront that i dont owe you art. this isnt a commission, this is a rainy day activity. your request will be fulfilled or it wont entirely based on my whims, and it will almost certainly not be in an untimely manner. i also reserve the right to block you if youre a dick.

agree or disagree: Honda/tristan would’ve been more interesting as a girl character.
honestly disagree, my problem with honda isnt that hes a boy, its that hes boring at best and annoying at worst. his entire role in the story feels like an afterthought. most of his characterization either revolves around jonouchi or being weird about women. he doesnt seem to have his own interests or even a strong personality. i dont think he even has a meaningful relationship with any main cast member besides jonouchi. even in s0, which is possibly his least annoying incarnation, hes still easily the worst member of the main cast and spends nearly every moment of screentime talking or thinking about miho. hes just not an interesting character and i think to make him have appeal youd need to revamp him from the ground up, and at that point theres already more interesting supporting characters.
it's wild how once you decide that actually someone being fat isn't the scariest, worst possible scenario thing in the world. how so much fearmongering just becomes so absurd and so obvious. from how every conservative comic artist draws their leftist caricatures as fat people to that one family member who won't stop whispering about how complete strangers must be terrible people when all they're using to justify that assumption is their weight to a billion weight loss ads on tv that show you a completely normal looking person and then insist that they're unacceptable to live in society without this miracle drug that'll completely fuck up their body to maybe lose a few pounds. this is crazytown. this is the bad place. what the fuck are you all talking about. it's just being fat.
