Haruhi fujioka really is the character ever. Going by any pronouns in 2006. Big beautiful brown eyes like a baby cow. Constant deadpan delivery. Getting bitches constantly. Reacts to romantic advances with a thousand-yard goldfish stare. Perfect flawless protagonist 10/10

the way the stanxeno scene in the manga is gay but overall something the average reader wouldn't think too hard on because it's just one page. meanwhile the anime's version has stanley caressing xeno's lips and cheek for SO LONG the average anime watcher is forced to have a thought about how gay it is. awesome stuff

Insane that no one is talking about Gen -you know THE Asagiri Gen that was willing to got to the darkest pits of hell for manipulating an entire population of people for their benefit- yes that Gen was unable to lie his way through the danger the team was facing with the rocket launch BECAUSE HE HIMSELF WAS UTTERLY TERRIFIED

Listen, Manga!Stanxeno spend their first night reunited just holding each other, Xeno curled up in Stanley's arms, crying himself out and then sleeping more deeply than he has in years. Anime!Stanxeno are fucking nasty the second they get back to their quarters. (The crying and the sleeping are still on the agenda, they're just delayed.)
