hey guys!!! I’m here with another twst au! I wrote this one all out last night so uhhhhh let’s hope it’s good so let’s get on with it!

One long weekend during the school year, Kalim went back to visit his family. He did not return to school the day it started up again. Or the day after. Or the day after that. Then suddenly it’s all that’s headlining the media: “THE YOUNG ASIM HEIR IS MISSING”.

Before the weekend, Jamil and Kalim had an argument that opened Kalim’s eyes; most of the people and families working for his family - including the Vipers - were practically slaves. He had always seen them as workers… But when Kalim went home that long weekend, he started to notice small things. Small things that when added together, painted a cruel and horrible picture. The night before Kalim was supposed to go back to school, he was walking past his dad’s office and saw the door was unlocked and the office itself empty. In a spur of the moment decision, Kalim snuck into his father’s office, stole the documents that legally bound the slaves to his family, and ran into the night. Multiple times Kalim considered turning back before someone realized he was missing along with the papers, but every time he decided against it. This wasn’t just about freeing Jamil and his family anymore. This was about beginning to undo generations of oppression and harm caused by Kalim’s family. Unfortunately, not backing down meant not returning home or getting caught because what he had just - rightfully and justly - done was a crime. He shuddered at what punishment would await him if he returned. He couldn’t return to NRC either. That would surely be the first place they checked. Since returning home was out of the question, Kalim began to worry he would have to sleep in the desert. Thankfully, this wasn’t the case. A group of three traveling rebels against families like Kalim’s found him and recognized him as the Asim heir. After a lot of threatening, negotiating, convincing, and promising (not all from the same side), Kalim convinced the rebels to let him join them. Fortunately, the rebel’s RV had just enough room for one more person to join them. To celebrate the new recruit, they set up a campfire and made s’mores, using the documents as fire kindling. From that day forward, Kalim and his new friends targeted and rebelled against people like Kalim’s father and possibly the worse part of his bloodline who abused their wealth, power, and authority.

I hate it when things get out of my control, I hate feeling powerless more than I hate anything else, the feeling of not being able to control things it's one of the worst feelings to me. I always want to be on power of EVERYTHING even if I try to to suppress that feeling

I hate to admit this because I feel like this is such a HUGE red flag but whatever haha

as much as i act excited about it i'm actually very scared to go to college and do adult things and that's because a) i'm scared i don't have what it takes to handle college life or majoring in astrophysics, b) i'm terrified to become like my older siblings who are all various forms of asshole, and c) i don't think i'll be able to make any meaningful social connections because i fear that there is something fundamentally wrong with me that drives everyone away eventually and that i am too butch but not butch or strong enough to be attractive to any romantic prospects

In spite of having many irl friends, I instantly feel extremely lonely when a hang out ends, I often feel like everybody I care about, in reality just tolerates me and has pity on me, that's why they still hang around and tell me they like me and stuff.

I have a select few friends (like 1 or 2 really) my brain doesn't try to convince they just tolerate me, and I'm greatful I've found them, cause it's fucking horrible feeling like this, sometimes even about my best friend I've known for 20 years, even my own family that has always loved me.

After that depressing rant...

so I’ll tell you an inside joke with my sister instead.

So my irl friend is write this little book on an app called fortelling or something? It’s called “Till Death do us part” (I helped the name because I’m cool like that) and it’s about this girl and her guy best friend, who(surprise to nobody) ends up together in the same way a good hand full of Y/N fanfics go. Kidnapping. And since it’s like a whole ass Y/N fanfic, they get married but the guy kills her on their honey moon(don’t ask why my friend hasn’t even figured it out yet(I’m pretty sure)). I tell my sister this and this is what we said;

Me: “oh, and guess what?”

sis: “what?”

me: “chicken but”

sis: “bro-“

me: “he’s also rich”

to which she proceeded to laugh and loudly say “that’s just a whole ass Y/N fanfic” and now every random minute, one or both of us will say “I’m rich by the way”
