Remember this viral post? Wanda and Jamal and her husband Lonnie are the most wholesome people, this story brought tears to my eyes originally and I am crying once more learning from Jamal's social media that Lonnie has sadly passed away.

but pls can we also talk about the whole symbolism of her hair

like at the start of the first film her hair is up and tight, it symbolises how uncomfortable she is and how she's restricted in her role and can't be herself, conceal don't feel etc

and then we all know that in Let It Go she takes her hair down into her iconic braid. she's finally free to be herself and is becoming more comfortable in her identity, she's discovering herself and she's much less restricted

and now we get to frozen 2. she starts with her hair in a braid but when she goes off on her own and starts following her own path, she puts her hair into a ponytail, she's letting go a bit more and she's free to be herself, nobody's watching

and finally in Show Yourself she lets her hair down completely, she knows exactly who she is and she's completely comfortable and confident in her identity, she has no restrictions and no expectations, and she doesn't care what anyone thinks. she's HAPPY
