Minseok:

You were a bit out of it after staying out late and having a couple of drinks. After changing and plunging into the bed, you draped an arm over his chest. “Minnie…. I want to hear a story.” He gave a small laugh until he looked over to see that you were 100% serious. “Alright.” He then spent thirty minutes rambling the plot to a drama that he had seen recently. Slowly, your eyes drooped and your breathing slowed, leaving him finishing it anyways in case you weren’t out yet.

Junmyeon:

Junmyeon had been reading something on his phone while you were tossing and turning, but unable to fall asleep. He looked over when you were facing his way, “What’s the matter.” You frowned and then moved closer as he opened his arm for you. “I just can’t seem to relax. Probably a stupid idea… but can you tell me a story?” He didn’t even question it, having a taste for storytelling anyways. So, you fell asleep to the sound of him repeating the story of a play he was fond of. The amusement in his voice left a smile on your face.

Yixing:

You were goofing around with him. He began tickling you until you shrieked for him to stop. After you both finally stopped laughing, tired from a long day, you rolled over to rest on his chest. “I have a request.” He smiled before kissing your forehead and pulling away to answer, “Anything you want. Go for it.” You smirked knowing he wasn’t expecting what you were going to say. “A bedtime story.” He raised his brow before agreeing. Soon after, you were enthralled in a Chinese tale that he used to be told when he was younger.

Baekhyun:

After talking about whatever came to mind until 2 am, you realized that it would be a nice time to get ready to sleep. But he was still wide awake. You were facing each other laying on your sides, but you nuzzled closer. “Can you tell me a story?” He smirked before kissing the top of your head. “Alright.” Then he ended up telling you the outline of an animation that he had watched. You had seen it too, but you didn’t mind. His voice and his warmth were all you needed to drift off.

Jongdae:

“We should go to sleep.” You and Dae had been binging a new show since you finished dinner and got a bit carried away with the time. He looked over and agreed, pulling you in close for a kiss. He sighed as he turned off the television and you smiled at him. “Dae?” You drawled on with a cutesy whining voice he was familiar with when you wanted something. “Yes baby?” You giggled a bit before speaking again. “You are good at telling stories…. Can you tell me one now? I am not sleepy yet.” He kissed you again, on the nose this time, as a silent response. Of course, it was as quirky as the boy who told it; but it was also as perfect and calming to you as he was.

Chanyeol:

He was waiting for you to come home from work, but you ended up having to stay late and unable to reach him due to a dead cell and restricted use to the work phone. You stumbled in tired and ready to just cuddle with him. After you changed, he hugged you to him with one arm, and played with your hair with the other. “Do you know any stories?” He found it completely adorable. “I know quite a few. Just close your eyes and listen, I know you had a long day.” You hugged the arm he held you with and slowly let the tension slip away. His deep voice filling your ears as the world melted away.

Kyungsoo:

He had asked you to go over lines with him for his new drama. You loved his passion for acting, and did everything you could to help him with it. It became late, and you both had work in the morning. As you rested your head on his chest, both of you ready for bed, you had an idea. “I would like it if you could tell me a story.” He chuckled, but graciously agreed. “A story it is then.” His acting skills also showed in his inflections which made you smile. In a way you both benefited from this.

Jongin:

He was like a cuddly puppy from the time he had gotten home. Not that you minded one bit, you enjoyed his soft side as much as his sexy one. Since you were both just lying there and enjoying each other’s presence, you wanted to see if he would do something. “Nini, can you tell me a bedtime story?” He rustled around a bit trying to think of something to tell you. Then he came up with a story he used to hear. You could tell he had heard it plenty of times, by the smooth and steady pace he was telling it. Eventually he stopped to check if you were still awake. He smiled as a small snore answered his curiosity.

Sehun:

You weren’t feeling that well all day, so he took off the day to spend it looking after you. You told him he didn’t need to stay, but he wanted to. After making you some soup and giving you some medicine for your chills, he crawled into bed with you. “You are going to get sick.” He rolled his eyes, “If I do, then oh well.” He pulled you into his arms even as you said it was a bad idea. “You need to sleep.” You knew he was right, but you couldn’t just close your eyes and magically drift off. “Tell me something, a story, so I can fall asleep.” He didn’t protest, just pulled the covers up over you both and rambled on, checking your forehead every so often for a fever.
