Tim: what do you think was the most insane shit you used to do at the league?

Damian: …like for training or for fun?

Tim: you were allowed fun?

Damian: *shrug* we made up games.

Tim: ok, so what was the most unhinged game?

Damian: hmm… real life operation was pretty wild.

Tim:

Jason, slightly drunk: well ya’see we figured out that i’d always come back- m’fuckin immortal or whatever the fuck,

Damian: and even if he wasn’t, we usually played it right next to the lazarus pit as a backup, so we could always tip him in if there was an emergency.

Jason: -yeah! so i used to just- used to just eat shit. and then after like an hour to let whatever i ate travel through my body a bit, they’d all cut me open and see who could get it all out with tweezers.

Damian: it was hard, because he kept somehow swallowing constantly-activated taser probes, so we actually would get buzzed if we fucked up.

Jason: *smug* i was a fuckin’ genius at comin up with educational games for you kids.

Damian: it did teach us a lot about anatomy.

Inspiration often comes from the need to make Dick Grayson go through the nine circles of hell, lol. But really, it's mostly about choosing references and getting out of my comfort zone. In all my work, I try to try something new, starting with colors. Rendering is already routine. The concept is harder, cause im trying to send some meaning through my art, but it something it doesn't happen so it's just a cute art for me, but nothing more

your rendering is my favourite part i think. or would it be called art style ? its just so painting-like and thats exactly what i want mine to be like !!! i really like painted/sketched/a bit messy but in the human kind of way type of art so ive been trying to emulate it (this is admittedly partially bcus i hate line art with a passion).
