Has anyone else thought about how that moment in R&I after Jane jumps off that bridge and resurfaces and Maura hugs her then immediately runs off is like basically the same as that moment in Bones when Booth "dies" then resurfaces at his own funeral and Bones hits him so hard, then gets weird AF for the rest of the episode but just... a more compressed, less emotionally drawn-out version? Because I'm thinking about that. Maura deserved to be weirder about that 100%. 200%. Maybe more.

Agreed! Why have Maura BE weird at all to have it resolve so quickly???? The being weird reads very romantic partner-y, and then Jane can just bring her perfume and it's fine???!!! (WHICH IS ALSO ROMANTIC PARTNER-Y)

I'm still so mad about this I can hardly express. And when Jane says "NO I DIDN'T THINK ABOUT YOU" I think Maura should have just slapped her silly!! AAARRGGH!!!

There's nothing like Maura telling Jane random sex facts every episode and it being so obvious that they are really Maura's deeply autistic attempts at propositioning her best friend, only for Jane to assume that Maura does this with everyone
