This is a moral affront. Pies are meant to be sugary and delightful desserts. I always thought that chicken pot pies and shepherd’s pies were abominations under God’s eyes but this, this is the portal that opens up into the deepest chasms of Hell.

So, in Canada (well, I can only really speak for Ontario) we tend towards the fruit pies as well, and chicken pot pie is really the only common meat pies (I don’t count shepherd’s pie b/c it doesn’t have a crust), although we have had meat pies on some rare occasions. Ito address your concern about hot travel food @nienna14 @just-a-random-word my family usually gets either a warm bagel from Timmy’s or else like, a fast food burger

i agree about shepards pie thats been a debate in my family for a long time. idk theres just nothing like a hot pie after a long day

Yeah no meat pies are usually sold at foreign food restaurants and that’s it. Like you go to an English diner you might get a meat pie, but fruit pies are regular. Although my favorite is chocolate cream.
