Wandering thoughts

There isn't a day that I would spend not thinking about you. All the good times we had, all of the shared smiles and laughs, gazes of adoration and silent little gasps of affection... Sometimes the memories of you, the thoughts of you, the feelings for you make me feel so heavy that it becomes hard to breathe. It suffocates me and I start thinking... does that make you feel lighter? When I am out of breath because of your constant presence in my mind... do you unconsciously feel energized because of my absence? Or is it just me who suffers every day... wondering... if you still think about me too... if seeing my picture still makes you miss me... if going to that park still reminds you of the moments we have spent there together...

Time changes us, right? From one to ten, how unlikely, do you think, it is, that we will meet again? You would say eleven and laugh. I didn't want to let you go, you know that. And I know, that it was hard for you to let me go too. But if at some point in our lives, we would meet again, would we try again? I'd like to think that we would. Even if it doesn't work out. Again.

I remember that children's playground we have spent all night at. Just talking on the swings, laying on the net and looking at the stars. As if we were kids again, with no troubles and no differences that separates us. But as the sun fades out the colours of the playground floor, better people come to my life and my emotions for you fade out too.
