#theme park

Today someone complimented my hhn shirt. I asked if they saw the Killer Klowns announcement. They said yes, I mentioned that I think it'll be our central park zone... and they proceeded to say "nah that's Fortnitemares" in the most matter of fact tone.

This is not the only time that me expressing my opinions in a theme park fandom has got me grief.

I hate talking to hardcore thoosies bc the moment I start talking about my favorites they no longer see me as credible. I told someone Sirens Curse is one of my favorites, alongside Stardust Racers, and his words, word for word, were "you need to ride some better roller coasters".

And unfortunately, this is a regular occurrence for me

theme park enthusiasts of all kinds, hear my pleas:

stop putting people down for having opinions

stop dissing people for their favorites

crack theories are not a reason to start arguing with someone

the response to an opinion different to yours is "i personally think it is (x)" or "i understand you like that, but i like (x)", not wording your opinions like fact

im probably just going to make a smile-based anomaly

It is good to at least know the basics if you're going to make an OC based off of it.

Slay slay went to Alton towers today and went on some CRAZY rides. Loved th13teen (thirteen) hella it was great, and loved all the lore of rides like hex and the two nemesis (sub-terra and reborn) it’s great how they have lore its so cool. I also went on the smiler which I’m quite impressed about myself. It was cool LOL. Also rode at the front which was kind of terrifying but whatever. I did it.

But the thing I’m actually posting to talk about is how I somehow had some really bad luck??? Regarding my Luffy merch. I had a tote bag from Miniso with the wanted posters on and it was decked out with a few pin badges and keychains. And before I even noticed I had frigging lost/almost losy the following

Almost lost one of the can badges??? It just clattered onto the floor in one of the waiting lines and I almost flipped out. (Still got it)

Not Luffy themed but I had a pop up circular fan that looked like an Orange that was attached to my bag. It SOMEHOW managed to get ripped off my bag, chain still attached, but somehow wrapped itself around someone else’s bag???? HOW??? WHY ME?!?!

Finally got home… thought all was over.

So pissed 😭 and upset
