Trying to explain to my mother that my nonbinary siblings contact is "Nate" because of an inside joke from 8 years ago and not because thats their preferred name. (Because that would be sinful)

Thought 19 would be my teenage dirtbag year, and it turns out it is, but not in a cool pinterest "i dont care mom!" aesthetic way, it is more like i do not talk to anyone or leave the house and im working minimum wage bc my social skills are so fucked i cant get past a job interview and my mind is like actually developing new mental illnesses and i will be stuck in my hometown forever, thank you.
