coming back from my slumber to comment on how absolutely insane of a take this is. i have 15 billion things i want to say but can't coherently say so instead i'm saying that it's absurd the way this person trivialized what are more often than not explorations of various characters clinging onto their humanity as they grapple with the authoritarian structure they have been coerced into working under AS IF depicting the foundation as being a horror tinged commentary on paramilitary & dehumanizing governmental structures & the terrifying concept of Lawful Neutrality is, like, an uncommon thing and not like 70% of all Foundation Takes on the wiki . the thing is that humanizing the staff and victims is a vital part of the horror of a LOT of skips AND tales and you can't humanize the staff and victims while skipping out on fleshing them out. god and what will they do when they find out a lot of these tales were written by the original authors of a lot of very praised articles
