The purgatory of the March's lives and how Holland's apathy enables it is sooo well done it makes me sick. He doesn't care. He doesn't care because he can't care. He doesn't care because he's drunk and scared and numb. And he's leaving Holly to fend for herself and he's only there at the table with her because bring homeless or dead would require effort.
