I do often wonder if Tumblr users that produce these quotes would mind having them put on t-shirts or something and sold as merch to help support a charity relating to womens/queer/human/environmental/animal etc rights

This may just be the marketeer in me speaking out loud but the "Potent Quotables", "^That's a raw ass fucking quote", or "Mind your P's and Q's" collections where the staff look up the original user (if still active) to gain permission to use it with some type of identifying badge on their account page might be appropriate in that case

If the account is inactive then I guess it would be considered "foraged", much like Mushrooms......

Allowing the user to pick which thing they would like to have it support and engaging the user vote would also increase engagement and awareness of specific campaigns each collection is supporting if its run from a specific merch account (perhaps there's already an existing one?)

Allowing users to make submissions on quotes they remember or one they've seen made helping to whittle down the ones put forward for consideration by popular vote by users once permission is obtained for use
