For an indifferent sea

In the nonsensical

Whimsical

"Unimportant"

Where success is more

Than points

On bank account

Scoreboards

And benchmark achievements

Destined to fade

Away,

But in the simple feeling

Of grass under my feet

With a heart bleeding

Love

Wiith every single

I was blind to Winter's beauty

Hoplessly longing

In a quantum field

Of gold

Light

Splashed against

The flaws and blemishes

Gained from endless

Fights

Why does this look so familiar

Yet so foreign?

Like the confusion between

Deciphering

A dearly distant memory

From a reccurring

Dream

Best to leave this terror

Unspoken

This damn mirror

Must be

The twined

Tightrope

Toward

Of obnoxiously

Busy bees

Spinning wheels

Nine to five

In an endless

Honorable strive

Towards greatness

In the eyes

Of a Queen

Who has already

Stillness

Motion

As

Worlds

Is often more fun

When we do not

Always know

The way

We are flowers

Growing

From a collective

Would be so easy

If it didn't mean

I was failing

Lest I see my sight undone

By the brilliance

Of its radiance

But a star

So impossibly far?

I could easily gaze

Until forever faded

Into a transcendental
