My only complaints:

-why was rose only in like 2 scenes?

-why did they make up a different backstory for Poe (spice smuggler) when he already had a cannon backstory

-and ugh my biggest complaint is that practically the whole last hour was just flashing lights, I appreciated the warning but did they really have to make such a big part of the movie with that? Just for a /dark/ aesthetic? I seriously felt so physically nauseous and my migraine still hasn't gone away

-wasnt super happy with the reylo kiss because, I know that ben changed and all but even just earlier in the movie he's literally telling rey the "she can't hide from him" and,,,that's not sending the best message. Maybe if they gave him more time to actually change, idk

-killing snap wexley was completely pointless

-did we ever find out what finn was going to tell rey? Did I blank that out or did we not get a answer?

What I liked:

-chewie getting a medal! That was so sweet and I might've actually cried in the theater

-the hug at the end with the main 3, i loved that sooo much

-so many pretty scenes! I loved seeing all the planets and species

-I actually liked that hux was the spy, I wasnt expecting it and it really added more to his character and yeah I thought that was a good twist

-so happy that rey didn't give into the darkness, yes it would've been something different but it would've been just reinforcing the negitive view that you will always turn out like your parents (grandparent in her case) and have no choice in your own path which can be super damaging so I'm really happy that they didn't go down that path just for the shock value

-i loved the main team it was so sweet to get rey, finn, poe, chewie, threepio and bb8 all on the falcon like it really just felt like home and all the banter and comedy, they all had such great chemistry

-i felt like the plot was a lot more precise and less messy then tlj it really felt more spaced out and cohesive

-i really loved the sideplot about finn finding other stormtrooper deserters, and I really loved the setup for lando and her finding where she's from

-loved the force ghosts!

-i actually was happy how they ended it with leia, although, (much like all the other major character deaths in the series) it could've been easily avoided. But how they showed it affecting her kids (kylo, rey, and poe) and oh no I seriously broke down when we saw chewie get the news

-i liked that it was left mostly open ended, a first order-free universe and our main guys to protect it together

-the scene where lando comes back with a million civilians to fight? Iconic

-ohhh also that line where the guy is like 'disable their speeders' and then the other guy is like 'theyre not using speeders' cut to them riding these horse/aliens and like oof yeah that was good

-i liked that kylo died with the throwing off his saber into the water, and then I liked that ben died finally making the right choice

-i just loved the whole cast! So much talent! Every scene John Boyega is in I'm like,, 👌👌👌
