intrigued by this info, I went to AO3 to look closer, and:

out of 127,486 works in Castiel/Dean Winchester, 29058 are tagged as Explicit, which is 22.79% of all destiel fics

Reminder about AO3 rules about tagging: A/B means it is a romantic or sexual relationship (though it can be one-sided). A&B means a platonic relationship - fics focused on a friendship, on familial relationships, etc. Whether fic is tagged as Explicit or not, is a completely separate category. A fic can be about a romantic relationship between two characters and not marked as Explicit, while other fic can be focused on friendship and be marked as Explicit for things like gore and violence.

If this true for wincest, then it is also true for destiel. Argument invalid.

Let's check: out of 127,502 works tagged as Castiel/Dean Winchester, 11214 are tagged as Alternate Universe, which is 8,80% of all destiel fics. out of 39,701 works tagged as Dean Winchester/Sam Winchester, 4559 are tagged as Alternate Universe, which is 11,48% of all wincest fics. Another argument invalid. Also people in the whole fandom are bad about tagging their AU's.

"We can Watch the Show and we also have a ton of fic that uses the Sam Winchester & Dean Winchester tag instead of / because they are Just Like That" Did you just call all interactions between Sam and Dean as Wincest?! Did you just did the thing that you are accusing hellers of doing?

Do you need a reminder what the "incest" part of your ship name means? Or did you just admitted that people in the wincest fandom are miss-taging their fics as about platonic relationship when they mean a romantic one?

Usually, there’s one blog I follow that tends to do it (and they have a different custom theme that I think triggers it more), but now it’s happening on everything, and I’ve heard the “checking your browser” comes up when Tumblr’s system is struggling to tell if you’re a bot or not… and so now I’m worried if I reblog a bunch of posts today it’s going to trip over and think I’m a bot, and I’m not trying to turn into a pixel blog here! (Though the way things have been going, my spidey-senses are questioning if Tumblr would decide that would be a great crappy birthday gift for me).
