hello!!! tainted love was definitely inspired by the song and it's my most ambitious idea so far!

So, this is the FBI agent Evan X serial killer Barty fic. Evan is a criminal profiler (yes, it was inspired by criminal minds) and one day he has a meet cute with Barty. Evan is this super busy, career focused guy so they have a one night stand, except they can't stop thinking about each other and start dating. They have a very uncomplicated relationship believe it or not!

But at the same time Evan starts dating Barty, a string of strange murders start showing up around the country, and the FBI quickly realizes they're dealing with a serial killer. So, it's a love story as much as a murder mystery (except there's not a lot of mysteries lol). Anyway, the case itself is tricky, the killer looks like they know how to confuse the profilers which should be extremely difficult. Evan starts getting frustrated, too focused on the case, and at the same time, his relationship with Barty starts getting troubled.

When Evan is pretty sure he's almost getting it, it's when everything shifts.

Now, going to Barty's pov, things are more complicated. He had no idea who Evan was when he met him, nor did he plan to fall in love with him, and he definitely didn't know Evan was going to start working on his case.

The thing is, as much as Barty is a serial killer, he's not crazy or unhinged. It's a revenge kill list, and these men deserve to be dead. The reason why they're dying is in Barty's past.

I think Tainted love is my darkest plot, not because rosekiller is dark, but because of Barty's past. It's heavy in a way that makes your stomach turn and makes you root for Barty in a way he can get away with it.

So, this plot is MESSY. Not sure if you ever watched Succession, but after I had the idea, I got a Succession vibe from it, so imagine a lot of rich people with big, million-dollar companies being pricks and stabbing each other in the back. That's the crux of Hunger For Me.

So, Barty has an older brother in this one. I usually write Barty as an only child, but brothers at the center of this story make the envy more prominent, so yes, brotherhood is important here. Despite being the second child, Barty was the favorite. He was born from Bartemius's second marriage, but he loved Barty's mom while he hated his first wife, and his firstborn paid the price.

Barty was going to be the next CEO, but then he overdosed and everything changed. He goes to rehab, stays there for months, and when he returns, everything has changed. His brother is now the next CEO, or at least he'll be; his father lost all of the trust he had in Barty and nothing remained the same. Barty has nothing, nothing but the fact that he ended up in rehab because his brother wanted him there, and despite loving his brother, Barty can't swallow the betrayal.

Revenge is very important in this story.

But Evan Rosier wasn't in his revenge plans. Evan, who's his brother's fiancé.

Evan is too old for his father's standards (35y), which means he should marry someone important. It doesn't matter that he wouldn't die for his fiance or that he's marrying him after only knowing him for a couple of months. Evan's real life became background noise; he's egoistical, materialistic and a marriage is just a step for his grand planned future.

Which is why Barty is a problem.

His reputation is awful; he's said to be promiscuous, problematic and a compulsive liar. But the more Evan talks to him, in private meetings and unusual coincidences, the more he starts doubting everything that was said to him about Barty. He's probably the only person who tells the truth in the midst of liars.

Evan knows he shouldn't cheat on his fiancé with his brother, and Barty knows Evan complicates everything, still, they can't help it. Not when the upcoming wedding activities and their families coming together as one makes them closer than they should.

Rich family drama is the backbone of this fic, and all of them are liars, backstabbers and immoral.

Shake the disease is my long-lost love, actually.

This idea is an old one, and I wrote some chapters but never posted. It's entirely inspired by the song Corrupt by Depeche Mode (aka, one of my fav bands), and it's a tricky story.

Essentially, the fic is written in the past and the present. In this one, Evan is a rich, spoiled kid who likes to seek thrills. He meets Barty because Barty is the new drug dealer around. Barty doesn't talk to anyone and people start spreading crazy rumours about him, since he's new meat, and Evan gets so curious he needs to know what's true and not, is Barty really in a gang? Was he running from the mafia? Did he kill someone? Evan doesn't even know his name at first, so he starts worming his way into Barty's life.

Now Barty, he's a mad dog on a leash. He's violent, chaotic and obsessive, and he's trying so hard to forget about this part of himself now that he's starting a new life, but Evan makes it impossible for him to be this person, so old Barty comes back rather easily.

They start a toxic, 'mama I'm in love with a criminal' type of relationship, and things are going well until Barty does something that brings Evan back to earth, and soon after, Barty goes to prison. That's when the past part ends.

Now, in the present, Barty is just out of prison. He spent years planning his revenge against the people who put him in prison, but while he's at it, he's also going to get Evan back. Evan, who let Barty rot in prison and broke up with him through a letter. Barty is going to remind him why they're soulmates.

So naturally, Barty kidnaps Evan after putting cameras all over his house and keeps him hostage until he remembers he's in love with Barty, and in between fights, a little stabbing, and a lot of talking, Evan does.

Feels like I already talked a lot about it today but I have so many fresh ideas that I could talk about this baby forever.

So, I'm going to babble about the title first. I usually start writing/ planning fics when I already have the title but this one WOULDN'T COME WITH A TITLE, so I was like, what if I start searching about tennis because honestly I know nothing about tennis. So I discovered that in tennis, they use the term "love" when a person scores while their opponent doesn't score for the entire game. So a love game is basically a game where only one person scores, which is Barty in this fic, because against the wife, since he's the only one scoring in this game lol

Well, Love Game is a mpreg fic where none of them knew it was possible and none of them WANTED kids. Barty because tennis is all he ever had and Evan because having a baby in his family means cursing the idea forever with a life of expectations. But I think that after the shock passes and Barty realizes it's EVAN'S baby, he's super down to it and it's like, what if I can have something to myself that's not tennis? Because tennis was never Barty's, it was his father's first and he started playing because he wanted to make him proud. But a baby will be only his and Evan's, so yeah.

Evan doesn't want to be up to the idea, but a baby out of wedlock means freedom somehow, even if a kid is not usually seen as freedom lol

I honestly love mpreg fics. I love the doubt, the hormone mess, love the pregnancy kink, but I don't like when it's only about the baby, so there's a lot of drama, TONS OF DRAMA, the pregnancy is there but they need to fix their relationship before the baby is out, and that's the fun of Love Game, I guess.

You unintentionally chose the mpreg fic, so yes, that's the name of it LOL!!

So I kind of already gave the basic plot and the vibes, but I'm going to talk more about it!! So, Barty is a tennis player, as I said in the last post, but he's like, tennis royalty, really young and also a tennis nepobaby, because well, Bartemius Sir is also a very respected tennis player. But Barty suffered an injury two years ago that made him stop playing for a while, and the reason he goes to this small town is that he wants to start training to compete again away from the media's eye.

So this town is a living character, and Barty goes from a big to this very small place where a bunch of rich people live and gossip all the time. There's no one new, it's a small community where everyone has a part to play. Evan's part is being the richest person in the town, he owns the country club and the only hotel in this town, but his family is also the founding one where old money is just OLD, which made it inevitable for him to marry the town's princess so they could become the sweethearts of the town. The thing is, Evan doesn't really love his wife, he doesn't even feel desire towards her, but Evan always follows the script, so he bears with it.

Until Barty.

Barty is the turning point of Evan's life. It's how he discovers why he never enjoyed sex and why he starts going against everything he was raised to do. It's how he starts putting his reputation at risk if anyone discovers his relationship with Barty.

The mpreg starts in the second part of the fanfic, and by then Evan is already in love, doubting everything, and Barty is trying really hard to not have hopes about something more because Evan's life is the town and Barty's is tennis, so it'll never work. A baby certainly wouldn't work and honestly Barty had NO IDEA he could get pregnant, until there's already a baby and Barty is like... omg... what if Evan chooses me... what if I baby trap him...

Now, down to business... sinful melody sounds most intriguing!!

Well, Sinful Melody is actually the only one I'm writing currently. It's the darkest in the list and the one that makes me the most uncomfortable to write.

Barty is a law student in this one and Evan is the new criminal law professor. He's mysterious, his past is a blank page and he's just... very disturbing. Barty, who has a strange pull to everything that's fucked up, gets intrigued, but what starts getting to him is the fact that Evan is not falling for his charms.

And in this fic, the town is a character as much as everyone else, so in this town, which is in the middle of an island very secluded from the real world, Barty is the golden boy. His professors love him, but not Evan, Evan actually thinks he's overestimated, so Barty gets really offended and decides he wants to know everything about his new professor.

He does that by stalking him, btw. And it's SO boring because Evan does the same thing every day, almost ritualistic. But after a few weeks, something changes and a girl enters the picture. It's safe to say Barty gets really surprised when he follows Evan to the middle of the woods and finds him hiding the girl's body.

So the thing about this fic is that the scenery is scary as it is, this small town is kind of haunted, has its own rules and the most despicable people you'll know. Barty himself has a tragic past and a horrible family, but it's Evan the most scary part of this story. He's just dark and mean, and Barty gets too obsessed with him to realize he's in danger, and when he realizes, it's already too late.
