Still trying to catch up on some long overdue prompts that have been living rent-free in my brain for ages, especially this one!
When I first saw the prompt "Garden" I immediately wanted to do something "South Downs Cottage Happily Ever After"-ly, as one does.
Then @noxnightingales shared this little gemstone of an idea:
I could see aziraphale as a bee keeper and crowley out in his garden. both bees and plants need each other, just like a and c. I can envision it, but I can't illustrate.
Yes, I could totally envision it, too:
Aziraphale would enjoy some proper beekeeping with all the human bells and whistles, e.g. the suit, a funny hat, a smoker and whatever else some apiculturist books would tell him. "Oh, may I obtain another license, please?"
*excited wiggling*
Meanwhile, Crowley surely would complain about all of it, right?
"Angel, you don't need any of this; just get some bloody bees and tell them to make honey or something!" And just to be contrary, he'd totally refuse to wear any protective gear, but mess around with the bees, probably having some very confused bees doing funny tricks.
*secretly loving Aziraphale's excitement and making sure no bee would ever dare to sting either of them*
Bonus: You can totally see Aziraphale's color inspiration for his beehives, right? And Crowley will indulge his angel with all the flowers in his favorite color, like the smitten demon he is.
So yeah... that's my interpretation of this prompt for you! I'll spare you the frustrating details about creating the most elaborate garden diorama, apple tree and all, just to ultimately scrap it all, because just focusing on our ineffable husbands and their animal friends worked so much better!

I have a head cannon that Dick isn’t as phased by things in Gotham as the rest of the batfam. Per my post about Dick getting to do whatever he wanted as Robin, I feel like Bruce learned what he should censor for the other Robins but he only learned that by having Dick experience it first. So now Dick will just walk into the most cult like violent scenes and he’ll just be walking around like he’s in a Home Depot. Like one of my favorite panels of Dick is when he is with the titans and he tastes the “blood” on the floor to see if it’s blood or not. I just feel like he does stuff like this all the time and Jason and Tim stare at him like he’s insane.

I think sometimes the universe forgets that Bruce wayne, The Batman, despite how he tries not to be, is human. I think it also forgets that Clark Kent isn't.
The first time I met Batman I was 15 and staying at a hotel on the edge of Metropolis with my parents. Mom and Pops had "business" in Gotham, the neighboring city. They wouldn't tell me what it was but Dad specifically told me we would never stay in a town like that. I didn't know anybody that was from Gotham but I did know a couple of kids that went on a field trip there the year before. They were part of some school club that focused its attentions on interesting architecture. They said it was one of the most interesting places they had ever been. Despite my small town upbringing I have ALWAYS wanted to be a reporter. In fact, my best friend Chloe and I are currently serving our tenure at the Torch, our highschool's paper. I bring it up to tell you why I don't blame myself for what I did next. My parents knew who I was when they left me alone in that hotel room with instructions to "keep to yourself, Clark and whatever you do, don't come to Gotham." Pops only ever said it was dangerous, nothing else. Mom... mom said it was like the city was sick. All stuffed up, full of crime and helpless people with no way out. Like there was something in the water keeping people there. I've known i wanted to help those people for as long as I've known about them. I just wish I knew how.
So that's what I was doing that night. Going into the city to find out how I could help. I needed information, needed to experience that sickness firsthand. I left a note on the bed 'went for ice cream, back in 10' in case they came back early. They'd be pissed and I hated to lie to them, but I had to know, what was it that had been festering deep in Gotham's veins?
