sparklepunk - a stance, label, subculture, and movement that combines the ideals of hopepunk, cringepunk, weirdpunk, hedonism, PLUR, and RACK. at it's core, sparklepunk involves being true and honest to oneself, recovery and healing, having fun, and spreading kindness and joy as an act of rebellion against all the hateful forces present within the world. sparklepunk rejects the idea that humanity is evil or destined for failure and holds fiercely onto the hope for a better future.
sparklepunk is most associated with scene/scenecore, rainbowcore, emo, punk, and decora aesthetics/subcultures, edginess and cuteness, alongside concepts such as sparklefurs, nostalgia, cringe, liomogai labels, hopetheism, and hopecore. however, there is intentionally no limit to how one can or cannot express their sparklepunk identity.
