trans women, I love you. to embody womanhood, the feminine, in a world built against it, is beautiful. though the world is often cruel and misunderstanding, please know that there are people who are delighted by you just because you exist. that your existence itself is poetic. that cis women and queer women fucking LOVE you.

I am so sick of constantly analyzing my body. I'm sick of it never being enough. I eat right. I don't eat much. I indulge sometimes, not often. I move at work. I move on my days off. I'm constantly tired. I drink so much water. I sleep. I journal. I go to therapy and I take supplements. There are truly no solutions. I have tried pacifism, gentle parenting, Catholic guilt, utter detachment. Psychedelic drugs. Hermetic reflection. Crying for help in every direction. Support groups. Poetry and art. So much clawing at the earth. But this thing I am in is never satisfied. I don't think it ever will be.
