the color that represents yang is yellow. it’s canon, that’s why her name was picked for the series. she is her show’s representation of goldilocks. yang’s full name is yang xiao long which translates to “little light dragon” or “small dragon of the sunshine.” her powers are fire oriented. light, sun, and fire are generally depicted with yellow. gold is her favorite color so i incorporated that into the shade of yellow in the aeathetic.

bloom’s eyes widened at the sight of a full mouth and a suspicious look and stood there frozen not knowing how to react to an actual thief. the only thing she could say was in a pleading tone. “what have i ever done to you? those are mine and i want the rest.” bloom held out her hands and demanded the food be handed back. “nice or not, i want my food.”

there were only a few potstickers left on the plate as she carefully passed them back. “you didn’t do anything to me, i just didn’t know it was yours. it was an accident, relax.”

Zatanna huffed impatiently, already less than impressed with the blonde. Normally she could handle a bit of teasing, but her mood had already tanked, and she found her patience to be in short supply, “I guess a summoning spell couldn’t hurt,” Focusing on her magic, and doing her best to recall exactly where her charger was, Zee prayed she wouldn’t find herself accidentally summoning someone else’s again, “Regrahc raeppa.”

yang waited in minor suspense while she waited to see if the summoning spell worked. sure enough, a few seconds later, there it was. “see, there you go! i like that you said it backwards. that seems so much easier than latin.”

“Uggggh, fine…” Groaning, Ruby rolled onto her back until she was at least mostly facing the TV. It left her head hanging off the bed, with everything upside down, and she doubted her circulation would last more than a minute or two before dizziness set in, but Yang couldn’t argue she was definitely looking at it now, “Ready to lose?”

yang watched ruby’s entire ordeal in amusement as she slid to the floor. it was easier than trying to maneuver around her sister on a bed that was barely big enough for her to begin with. “oh, yes, i am going to lose so bad,” she said very robotically. “you are the master i am but a n00b.”

Blake’s brow quirked upwards, “Is the deal really that much better than the usual cost for going alone?” She thought the upside to those kinds of deals were that the couple would be paying less for the two of them than they would be normally.

yang perused the display with her head tilted slightly toward sloane as she spoke, nodding to show she was indeed paying attention just in case she didn’t look it. “so i’ll take a combo of any black, white, and purple flowers you have for my roommate and....” she looked over all of the options one more time to be sure, “if i throw in a few extra dollars, think we could turn a bouquet of red roses into a flower crown for my sister? her name is literally ruby rose, so i think it would really be a crime to pass up that opportunity,” she beamed.
