“So you can upload it on Beacon’s stupid dating app?” Ruby grumbled, ducking behind her textbook.

“Yep. And it’s not stupid alright? The ‘Shipping Bin’ is really helpful. Just ask Blake!”

“Nooo way, you can’t trick me into thinking that this is a good idea.” The girl protested. “I remember Blake throwing out all your shampoo bottles after you helped her to create a profile.”

“Bah, she was just overreacting. It’s not my fault that Cardin thought they were compatible.” She snorted.

Ruby shook her head vehemently, scowling when Yang pushed aside the book to get a better picture. Leaning backwards as far as her chair allowed, she tried shielding her face with her hands. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to stop Yang from trying to take more photos so she did the next best thing. Namely, calling for backup.

“Weiss, Yang is bothering me!” Ruby whined. “Can’t you distract her or something?”

The heiress looked up from her own textbook, shooting an annoyed glare at both of her team-mates. With a loud sigh, she shut the book with a snap and stomped over to the boxer, ripping the scroll out of her hands.

“There.” Weiss huffed. “She has been distracted. Now, can you all tone it down just a little?”

“Nuh uh.” Yang said, pushing the girl backwards. “Not till I get a picture.”

Weiss choked in surprise as she lost her balance, falling onto one of the beds with a muted thud. She looked up to scold the brute; but promptly sucked in a breath when Yang pinned her down, two muscled arms planted at either side of her head. Her face exploded into a brilliant red hue when Yang leaned down to rest her forehead against hers. Her scent was intoxicating, sweet smell of her fruity shampoo making her head spin. Weiss spluttered with embarrassment, her throat tightening when Yang had the audacity to plant a small kiss on her cheek, her brain short circuiting at the contact.

At a loss for words, Weiss didn't register the scroll being ripped out of her hands. She blinked owlishly.

“Yang.” Ruby said worriedly. “I think you broke her.”

“Eh, she’ll be fine.” Yang shrugged, shooting the slack jawed heiress a sly look. “Sides’ I’ll fix her up later, so it’s no big deal.”

Ruby noted that Weiss turned an even darker shade of red, and mentally made a note to buy some flowers for the two. The electricity between Yang and Weiss was frightening. She wouldn't be surprised if Weiss ended up asking for her permission to date her sister. Her partner was weird like that. 

“Anyway! Back to what I was asking, Rubes.”

The cheerfulness in her voice made the cloaked girl sigh. Deciding on the lesser of two evils, Ruby turned to face Yang. She grimaced at the smug look on the other girl’s face and waved her hand dismissively.

“Alright fine! Let’s get this over with.”

Yang beamed. “Finally! Okay…” She held up the scroll, signaling Ruby to tilt her head to the side. She groaned but complied, this was way too much effort than it was worth. Besides, it wasn't like other people were going to start asking her out on dates because of one little picture. Relaxing into the chair, Ruby took in a deep breath just as Yang gave her a thumbs up.
