shitty rocky and adrian doodles while i work on designs

grace teaches 8th grade in the science department like he does canonically and simon teaches 8th grade in the science department as well

rocky teaches engineering in the stem pathway

adrian is a school counselor

adrian runs the cyber patriots club and they lowkey sweep every competition. they were torn between teaching in the stem pathway, but they liked the one on one time they got with the kids.

grace runs a small environmental science club and they clean trash in parks on the weekends and go to museums and aquariums for small little field trips. he likes seeing how enthusiastic the kids get and being able to sprinkle in fun facts while exploring

simon runs a garden club after seeing the abysmal state that the garden was in when he first got hired, he wanted to revitalize the plant life and also encourage the students to learn more about plants. it makes him feel close to his mom

rocky helps with the school's small theater department and helps with technical aspects. he focuses more on set design and props. he loves creating things and he love helping the kids find a passion in also creating things. the kids call him mr.rocky

rocky is mute and uses an AAC to talk, and instead of manually typing things out, he has a crap ton of preset words. he likes spamming "amaze" when his students get a question right

rocky and simon were new hires, rocky befriended grace immediately after he heard through teacher gossip about him calling someone a "staggering waste of carbon"

simon and grace become friends slowly and later down the line, but once they did they collaborated on lesson plans and brainstormed on how to make things more fun for the kids

grace keeps his classroom open during lunch and simon and rocky also visit

the students ship grace and simon but never know if anything is actually happening bc they keep their personal lives so private

adrian and rocky are gross about eachother and they're madly in love, every student and staff member knows it

rocky is totally the type of teacher to barge in on grace in the middle of a lesson and make fun of him so the kids laugh

simon will visit the office after school hours are done and chat with adrian. adrian will tell him office gossip, and simon will him teacher gossip.

once simon and grace get together, they keep the students guessing, and many of them only see they got together long after on social media after they announce they got married

ryland grace who is deeply fascinated by how that occurred within his biology (after he gets over the holy cow scary extra teeth thing) and who studies simon with revenernce and gentleness when simon finally allows him to

every time i see him demand that grace uses his words or forces him to process quickly through his overthinking and conflicting thoughts, a part of me dies a little.

because you're telling me a man who begged to live, begged to be free, begged to just return back to the place he knew as home, and ultimately had that choice taken from him, would deprive someone else of time to process things on their own terms? or would be impatient and demanding?

simon runs the garden club, and as he helps students with their assigned tasks, he makes sure to educate them on more scientific concepts revolving around plants in an enjoyable and digestible way.

grace visits one day and sees how good simon does with kids, and how much he loves teaching them and helping them with tasks, and something switches in his brain

and suddenly he realizes he's falling for his coworker.
