Little scene I wrote for a wriolette fic inspired by âtoo little too lateâ by laufey which is neuvilletteâs perspective on a situation where due to fake news Fontaine believes wriothesley is engaged
scene under the cut!!
So, people explore the whole "post-Conan Shinichi who has chronic issues due to his overuse of antidotes" thing.
But, I kinda figure... Why wait for him to be Shinichi again? Why not slap Conan with the chronic pain and fucked up body issues from forcing himself through those transformations so much?
What I'm saying is why not make him suffer now?
PLEASE if anyone has fic recs sendđđŤś
Are there any FMA fans interested in a post-series cosmic psychological horror fic, all taking place in a singular room where Edward is lowkey going crazy and physically declining as he tries to right a freak alchemy accident involving his children or is it just me??
(Itâs based on a really cool dream I had)
Also no Edward does not keep his alchemy, thats why itâs a freak accidentâŚ
(I havenât written it yet but Iâm really thinking about it)
Guys, I was joking with the previous art. It's not my drawing, it's a screenshot from the full-length anime "Fullmetal Alchemist: The Battle for the Last Cookie."

ao3 does in fact have a reccomendations tab and it's called going to your favorite author's bookmarks list
if you comment some demanding shit like this on fanfic writersâ works, you donât deserve the privilege of getting to read fanfiction for free
screenshotting other peopleâs fics and posting them to mock and shame writers is such an entitled, loser behavior and why twitter and tiktok are seen as âtoxic platforms full of bullies and entitled teensâ.
no one says you have to like every fic. no one says you canât find a fic âterribly writtenâ. but if at any point you find yourself not liking what you read, instead of being a dick about other peopleâs harmless hobbies that they do for themselves and you got to read for free, you could have just clicked the back button and looked for something else to read. or, better yet, you couldâve started writing what you wanted to read yourself.
this normalization of openly mocking other peopleâs fics â especially now with the raise of ai, bots harassing/trying to scam writers and the lack of positive engagement writers get â is why writers are wary about sharing their works with you. writers are kind enough to share with you what they wrote for free. you can just not read it if itâs not your cup of tea. but if you keep this mean girl bully energy up by screenshotting their works to mock and shame them, eventually there will be no fics for you to read, eventually there will be no fan contents for you to enjoy.
no artists want to share their hard works for free if theyâll just end up getting mocked by a bunch of childish bullies. if you donât want to destroy the community and fandom youâre in, stop acting like a bully, stop mocking and shaming fics.
On this note I wanna share that me and my friends have a discord with a whole channel where we screenshot parts of fics that we love or made us laugh or just something we wanna share
Donât stop writing, your words are so appreciated.
How to Fix Underwriting
1. Slow down at emotionally important moments.
Big emotions need space to land. If a scene feels rushed, pause the plot briefly to show how the moment affects the character.
2. Add reactions, not explanations.
Instead of explaining what a character feels, show it through physical responses, hesitation, or small actions that reveal emotion naturally.
3. Ground every scene in the senses.
If a scene feels thin, add one or two sensory detailsâsound, texture, smell, or temperatureâto make the moment feel lived-in.
4. Let thoughts interrupt action.
A line of internal thought can deepen a scene without slowing it too much. Thoughts show stakes, fear, longing, or conflict beneath the action.
5. Expand consequences, not events.
You donât need more things to happenâyou need to show what matters. Focus on how events change relationships, decisions, or self-perception.
6. Strengthen setting where emotion peaks.
The environment should echo or contrast the emotion of the scene. Setting is not decorationâitâs emotional reinforcement.
7. Add specific details instead of general ones.
Underwriting often relies on vague language. Swap âthey arguedâ for one sharp line of dialogue or a specific breaking point.
8. Let dialogue breathe.
Short dialogue exchanges without pauses can feel flat. Add beatsâsilence, gestures, interruptionsâto give the conversation weight.
9. Show transitions between scenes.
If scenes jump too quickly, readers feel disoriented. A brief transition helps establish time, mood, and emotional continuity.
10. Clarify stakes early in the scene.
If readers donât know what can be lost, scenes feel empty. Make sure the character wants something specific and fears losing it.
11. Use the âwhat are they feeling right now?â check.
After each major beat, ask what emotion is dominant in that moment. If itâs missing on the page, the scene is likely underwritten.
12. Expand scenes that feel âtoo clean.â
If a scene resolves too neatly or quickly, it probably needs more tension. Messy emotions and unresolved feelings add depth.
not mine. found on reddit, but my god scam bots on ao3 are both embarrassing and hilarious đ I was told their usual goal was to either get usersâ personal informations/money through fake commissions or get them to delete their fics so that these bots could âsafely steal their works to train their ai without writers being able to claim ownerships of their own works since the original sources were deletedâ but I donât even know what the point of this is. just to scare people for fun? because some people might unfortunately believe them. just to troll?
I was also told that if they were commenting as a guest comment, they sometimes used the urls of random innocent and legit users (since anyone can use any name they want if theyâre commenting as a guest user), which is just bad for the innocent users who were impersonated by these losers.
anyway, if you got a comment like this, report them for scam.
itâs also important now more than ever for us all to leave nice comments on the fics we like. with the rise of scam bots plaguing ao3âs comments section, getting a genuine, nice comment from a real person means so much to writers who gave us these wonderful fics to enjoy for free.

I hate how bot comments on ao3 are making more and more writers disable their comments and lock their works so that only people with registered accounts can access their works (because while some of these bots are from registered accounts and therefore locking your fics wonât guarantee that you will be safe from them, a lot of them are commenting as guest users so locking fics helps a little), because there are so many genuine readers who read and comment on fics without having their own registered accounts.
these bots are not only annoying and harmful (if you fell for their lies and gave them money, an access to your personal informations), theyâre also keeping artists and art from genuine audiences and destroying the community artists built with their audiences.
this is a post to say fuck you every bot out there.
WITH EVERY REBLOG THIS POST GETS, A BOT WILL DIE
also hereâs how to spot and deal with bot comments
every day I learn bot comments on ao3 are stooping lower and lower
anyway if you get a comment like this, chances are that they are bot and their goal is to do whatever it takes to get you to delete your work, most certainly (from what Iâve heard) itâs because they want to âsafelyâ steal your work, use it to train their ai without you being able to rightfully claim ownership of your work since âthereâs no proof that the work was stolen/was posted elsewhere first by youâ because the original source has already been deleted.
THEY ARE ALL BOTS. at first it was âao3 is deleting fics and your entire account will be affected unless you delete the fics yourselfâ then it was âthis work contains contents that are illegal and they have already reported you and your fic to the policeâ (yes, thatâs how desperate these bots are), and now itâs this.
report their comments to ao3 for spamâin this case, specifically, I think you may be able to report them for harassment tooâand donât pay attention to them, most importantly donât delete your works, donât feel discouraged by their comments. remember that they are bots and they mass comment something like this on peopleâs works at random to get people to delete their works. (or even if theyâre not bot, they are still pathetic bullies who donât deserve your time or attention.)

PSA: new type of bots plaguing AO3âs comments section.
as obvious as it is that these are all bots/scam, I believe there are still people who believe they are legit and fall victims to these trolls. so if you get a comment like these, donât panic, donât delete your works. they are all bots. youâre fine.

your comment means so much to the author!! donât be shy about letting your favorite authors know you love their works.
if their fic makes your day, your comment makes their day too
worst part of anxiety/ocd is that sometimes your fears actually do happen and you have to wag your finger at i like this still doesn't prove you're right asshole. it's like having a venom symbiote except you don't even get to have gay alien sex
