Now recruiting for The Education Protocol!
The Education Protocol is the umbrella term for static groups that run once a week. The purpose is to teach basic mechanics and gear theory to people new to endgame. Always wanted to try your hand at dungeons but nervous of random people in the group finder? Have a mild interest but not sure where to even start? Do the numbers in the written guides make your eyes cross? Never done a dungeon even once in any game ever? We might be right for you!
Education Protocol is broken into ‘Waves’. Each Wave is a static group, meaning it’s the same 5 people every week. The goal is to get the group to Elite 5 dungeons and get the outfits for finishing those dungeons. After that, the Wave is released from training to do as they please.
What are the requirements to join?
The ability to use Discord. You DO NOT have to talk, just be able to listen to explanations.
The ability to dedicate at least two hours for one night each week. Obviously, RL comes first but ideally we won’t be down someone often.
The ability to let go of another’s mistakes. Everyone is always learning. Everyone is new.
Do I have to join a cabal?
Nope! You are only required to interact with EP on EP night.

“EP was a thing I always wanted to get involved in because of the structure of having a set group of folk to run content with. Having that consistency enables you to concentrate strictly on the mechanics and the game itself once you have your teamwork down. The caliber of people involved were patient, kind, and always open to try things in different ways to find what worked best as a group. When I first joined wave 4 as DPS it helped me refine my build, my rotation, and become a better player than I ever was before. However, the group’s willingness to let me step in as tank and try something completely new was huge. As a result of my time with wave 4 I have made better friends than I’ve had before and have more confidence to try new things that has carried over to my life offline too. It sounds corny I know but being part of EP made me both a better player, and a better person.”
This Wave will start on Monday, July 23rd at 6:30 PM Eastern/ 3:30 PM Pacific.
