i love how in the middle ages no one had any self esteem. like it was just normal. like everyone just accepted that they were worthless filth n would remain so their entire lives n it was very chill. no one said “recite positive affirmations n do pleasurable activities 2 increase mood & self image” instead they said “keep plowing the lord of the manor’s fields u stupid piece of shit remember u r but dust n 2 dust u shall return”
