i feel like i've been in kyoto in a past life. which is maybe why it makes me sad? it's that same feeling i get when

you know when you have this song you get stuck with at one point in your life...like for me for example and i have many but one good example would be beyonce's renaissance album...specifically the cuff it > energy > break my soul > church girl sequence on loop like i think for 3 months that was all i listened to on my morning walks back in mid 2022 back at our previous place that i still love and miss nowadays (more often than i'd like to admit). but so now i can no longer bring myself to listen to these songs, this exact sequence of songs, because i feel like they belong in a different time, in a different place, like somehow it symbolizes this like. the impossibility of never getting a specific thing back. you get me?
