God sees you always.
βWhat is it, Tanrak? Huh? The rosary I lent you. Kongdech returned it to me. I think he must be suspicious about us. Calm down. It's nothing. What if he tells Father? You think he'd tell Father? Barth, we're screwed. It's just a rosary. People can borrow those, right? Right? It's nothing. Just let it go for now. Okay?β
TICKET TO HEAVEN (2026) | EPISODE 5
Very on brand for the boy who is pissed off at God to still have a car rosary hanging on his rearview mirror.
And for him to be cool with La Virgen while hating everything else about Catholicism.
How very Latino of him.
lingering kisses on the forehead, the tip of your nose and the corner of your mouth; foreheads meeting in a desperate need to sink into each others' skin; our names gasped into the infinitesimal space between us; hands that hold, lift, unbearably gentleβthe sheer intimacy between barth and tanrak when they stole a moment from movie night was voyeuristic

I love that half the ticket to heaven bts stuff Aof is sharing is like. The script gave vibes only, no dialogue, and GeminiFourth just decided to create the most heartbreakingly beautiful thing with it. What a gift to him and us.
Barth calling a phone number that he knows no one is going to answer but that still brings him some sort of comfort sounds a little bit like praying
This scene is the turning point for Tanrak.
He's ready to end the relationship and choose the "path of Godβ then they meet in front of the saint to whom Tanrak's mother was devoted, the saint that gave her the gift of his parents love, Tanrak himself, a love so strong they named him after it
Barth tries to argue for his love beyond religion; his love is strong enough to overcome everything, and he wants Tanrak to say that his is too. In a final appeal, he affirms that God created us to love, therefore, their love cannot be wrong, and it's at this moment that I think Tanrak makes his decision.
How could he fear a God who always forgives and who made creatures to love their next? In fact, I have a theory that he feared the priest's reaction more than anything else (beyond religious guilt) but thatβs another take
1 John 4:8 "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love"

I still want to be with you. I still want a future with you.
i'm not god's favorite son... i'm not god's favorite son either.
chaap tilak (amir khusro) β ticket to heaven
βWere you waiting for me? No. Hey, wait. When you said you were wavering, is that all it is? Well, how could I feel anything more than that, Barth? Canβt you just let it happen? Let it go even further? Barth. You know what? When Iβm near you, I canβt control myself. But are you happy? Yeah. Barth. Barth. Barth. Why are you calling me so loud? Iβm right here. Iβm not going anywhere. Thank you.β
TICKET TO HEAVEN, episode 04
Thinking about the tragedy of Barth. Spending his whole life in a broken family, still praying for help, until everything finally breaks in the worst way possible and he lets go of his faith
And then he is just angry and defeated. And he has made peace with it. He is ready for that. He is ready to go to live in the church and quietly suffer and be alone and be an outsider
But then. Then he is given a fucking miracle. He meets a boy and he is sweet, and full of light but also full of a quiet sadness and he is kind to him and he believes him and he becomes a friend and then he becomes more and he kisses him back and smiles at him...
And he says he will choose god over Barth everything. He is going to lose. Again. Why did he ever think he could have a good thing. Why did he ever think a place of God would ever let him hold anything good

barth's 'are you mad at me?' is still completely devastating to me but the immediate cut to tanrak looking at him like he wants to eat the meat off his bone so bad he's going cross eyed is SO funny
A flower that symbolises innocence and purity
