Phenomenal
it is impossible to watch a movie. every night i think i want to watch a movie. no movie gets watched. because it's not possible
and yet they keep making movies with the hopes that one day humanity will discover a way to watch them. it's so inspiring
the funniest moment in dungeon meshi is when marcille is having her nightmare and brings up her dead bird while also talking about her dead dad, saying “papa and pipi” and laios automatically assumes pipi is marcilles third nonbinary parent on top of her mom and dad

Whenever people ask me "why don't you know xyz, it's so popular" well see it's because
I literally live in south east asia
Most countries cut the map like that because it's the easiest and most logical place to have a big vertical split! Everyone else agrees that the awkward and self centred way that Americans cut the map so that they sit in the middle is obnoxious as hell.
#Does US have a different map???? via @eldritch-bisexual
Why yes. Yes we do:
^Those are generally what hangs on the wall in US classrooms.
I moved around a lot as a kid and attended seven different schools and have only ever seen maps like this on posts on the internet making fun of USAmericans. I'm not saying they don't hang in any school, obviously, I'm sure they do. But they definitely aren't the standard
i don't know who needs to hear this, but guilt, self-hatred and shame are not sustainable sources of growth and healing. you can't hate yourself into feeling better, or being better. you can't repeatedly punish yourself for your flawed humanity and expect wholesome results.
