Poor little fox has to do an impossible task (get out of bed) to avoid torture (going to sleep too late again) but little fox is so cosy under the soft, warm covers and little fox is devastated
Species euphoria moment :
My friend calls me âlittle foxâ all the time, and I find it very sweet. The other day, he said it again and I answered âyou know, you might have to stop calling me that when I die my hair another colorâ (for the record, I dye my hair orange because yay species euphoria ! But at the same time I was thinking of trying out other colors because funsies).
He then proceeded to look at me as if I said something stupid and replied that he does not call me that because Iâm ginger, but because I look like a fox (âyeah your face has lots of fox-like traitsâ â???â âEspecially your eyes btw, idk why but theyâre fox eyesâ) and have some fox-like behaviors.
Coming from someone who lives right next to a forest and who regularly sees foxes in the wild, this was such a compliment and it made me so happy ! I seriously had no idea it is why he is calling me a fox all of the time, but seriously I couldnât have hoped for a more wholesome reason.

Made a somewhat steady friend group at university, and I just realized that I started to see some of them as part of my packâŚwish me luck, I can feel that the protective instincts are starting to go through the roof.
I do not mind though, it is nice to feel like I belong somewhere, and to have people I can see as packmatesâŚeven if I wonât tell them that. I missed having people to take care of and to look after.
