Why is Aubrey on Fire?

Okay so: 

 -The Graysons were brought to dry river because Abigail asked for them personally to work on something 

 -She did not tell them what the job was. 

-They arrive and conspicuously are perfect for the job of researching who killed Jeremiah, with the express purpose of saving Dylan. 

-The murder weapon was very blatantly Liam's with silver dust (at least as far as we know) because of its claw-like shape and silver dust 

-Liam was willing to just let it sit out in the open. -What if this was not a frame job for Dylan, but Liam? 

 -Liam is the chief negotiator in  the trade agreement for the workers. He is the one in charge of getting better safety and better pay. -Who benefits from Liam being framed? 

-Either someone who benefits from the deal not going through, or someone who benefits from putting the workers at a disadvantage. 

-The murder weapon was claw like and had silver dust in it.
