I am doing okay...

It's just that I'm working on two jobs now, in addition to my thesis. So sadly I don't have time for anything, least of all my blog. Even so, I plan to keep writing! I haven't forgotten about the stories I left pending and I'm always looking forward to writing here again.

And even though I'm not that active I check tumblr from time to time so if you want to talk to me or whatever, I'll probably reply eventually.

(I always use masculine pronouns because it's easier for me to write that way)

Whump Art 10

Whumper has owned his pet Whumpee for as long as Caretaker has known him, and while Caretaker has often considered taking Whumpee with him, he has never been able to do so.

Today, when Caretaker arrives at Whumper's house, he notices how bad Whumpee's condition is. Seeing the opportunity, Caretaker offers Whumper a juicy sum of money in exchange for Whumpee.

Whumper hesitates for a moment, but Caretaker tries to convince him by explaining how broken Whumpee is, how useless he has become over time, how his beauty has faded, and how Whumpee has become nothing but a burden to Whumper. Yet, Caretaker expresses his sincere interest in taking Whumpee off his hands and freeing him from the problem.

Whumper, without thinking much more about it, accepts. And Caretaker takes Whumpee home.

Whumper has been a terrible person, mercilessly destroying and crushing the lives of those who stood in the way of his beloved nation to which he was blindly loyal. Yet his loyalty did him no good when those he had always served betrayed and turned against him.

Now all Whumper can do is escape from his own kind.

Curious is the fate when Whumper, exhausted, wounded and starving after weeks of being hunted, ends up in the hands of those he had once harmed.

More is his surprise when these people decide to save his life and give him a second chance.

Whumper is in the market for a new pet. There he tries to choose a sturdy one. Working for Whumper requires being able to withstand a lot of hard work, plus, Whumper plans to have fun training a challenging pet, it would be a pity if a bit of fun ended up killing it.

Among all the pets, a tall, strong one stands out immediately catching his eye. This pet, with its clenched jaw and furrowed brow, looks challenging enough to amuse him. So, with that in mind, Whumper approaches and yanks on its hair, expecting a reaction such as defiance, fury or even humiliation, but instead Whumpee leans against his hand, seeking his touch.

At first when Whumpee sees you he is rather surprised.

Realising that you are just a lunatic with a sheet over his head saying: "boooo, boooo..." he considers laughing in your face. But oh no, this is not a joke.

Out of the darkness a centipede-like creature emerges and speaks into Whumpee's mind. Whumpee runs to hide in his cage hoping you won't drag him out of it.

Whumpee is scared, yes, yes! very scared. That's what the creature wants. And Whumpee is more than happy to oblige to the strange creature.

Please don't hurt him!

Ever since Villain's capture, he's been passed around between different hero teams. Some wanted to interrogate him, others take revenge, and a few just treated him like a servant.

Now, Villain finds himself with a new group of heroes, but they don't seem interested in him at all. He just sits in his assigned room, waiting for a hero to come in and either punish him for his crimes or find some use for him.

But as days go by without anything bad happening, Villain decides to take matters into his own hands. He steps out of his room and starts doing chores like cleaning, cooking, and whatever else he can to keep the heroes happy. Maybe if he proves useful, they'll take pity on him and let him stay a bit longer before passing him to the next team.

Hii First I love the art ! Just, I'm new, can you explain to me what "BBU whum" mean ? I know about Whumpee/Whumper but I don't know about bbu...

Glad you like my art and thanks for the question. And because the answer can be a bit complex I decided to answer it in this separate post.

So BBU stands for Box Boy Universe, which is a sandbox within the whump community.

The BBU is basically a modern world setting in which slavery is legalised and people can sell their freedom to the WRU to become slaves.

The WRU is a company in charge of erasing the memory of people who sign a contract with them to become slaves/pets (with the promise of a better future) and train them in their facilities to be the perfect pet for their future owner.

BoxBoys/Babes can be trained in different designations such as Platonic, Domestics, Romantics or Guard Dogs.

(The thing is, there have been rumours of people disappearing and reappearing as BoxBoys. People who haven't signed contracts with the WRU, but the WRU is a trusted company, those must just be rumours)

In this same universe there is also a movement against the WRU and in favour of the liberation of the Box Boys, ordinary people who do not agree with the company and the obvious abusive situations suffered by those who sign contracts with them.

The team of heroes is having a meeting with Supervillain to negotiate the lives of some hostages. Villain, the newest member of the team, refuses to go, but Hero insists that he should go, saying that Villain knows Supervillain better and with him there they have a better chance of a successful negotiation.
