Hello queer community ๐ณ๏ธโโง๏ธ๐ณ๏ธโ๐, friends, well-wishers, and allies. I am reaching out to you as one of the queer refugees and as a leader, organizer, and representative of the queer refugees in Gorom refugee camp in South Sudan.
We appreciate all those that spared the little money they had, sacrificed or forewent something to donate to our fundraiser for supporting us with accessing basic needs. Your compassion and sacrifice is the reason why we still survive after being disowned, ostracized and excommunicated by our family and friends. You are the reason why we wake up each day with hope and comfort that someone in this world loves us the way we are.

the chernobyl rule of jewish persecution
generally, people aren't very keen on leaving their homes.
case in point: 130 people still lived in chernobyl's exclusion zone in 2018
if people are willing to live illegally in a radioactive hellscape, i'mma go out on a limb and say it's hard to drop to below 130 people from a sizable population without persecution or some other catastrophe.
but the other catastrophe can also be measured.
if the non-jewish population of a country or area stayed the same or grew, but the (sizable) jewish population dropped to under 130 people, then...well, those claiming there wasn't persecution had better have some extraordinary evidence.
And some ba*tards still have the audacity to say that minorities are being persecuted in India.
Antizionism is antisemitism. Hatred of the Jewish state is hatred of the Jewish people, as such. Hatred or discrimination against any national or ethnic group is wrong. It is wrong to persecute and harass people because of their identity.
