“I think they lied to us. We aren’t that different, after all.”

“I hated you. I think I still hate you. But, I need your help.”

“If I have to rely on you for this, will I be able to trust you?”

“This doesn’t mean I like you. I still think you’re insufferable.”

“Is this what your friends always have to deal with? I pity them.”

“No, no, don’t you die, now, I just started being able to tolerate you!”

“You have a point. And that might be the scariest thing I’ve ever said.”

“Don’t get the wrong idea. You still disgust me. But you can be useful.”

“Seriously? You’re gonna finally win me over, then go get hurt like that?”

“Maybe… okay, hear me out, maybe we do have something in common.”

“You think this puts us on good terms? You’re still the enemy. You were just convenient.”

“You’re a lot different than I thought you would be. Still not sure if that’s good or bad, yet.”

“I didn’t think you’d be able to change my mind, but now I’m thinking things I never would’ve.”

Apathy and Selfishness.

But there was a different, one turned to another out of the selfless and one became it for a desire they wanted so much.

Sea Fairy didn't say much as she stared at Mystic Flour, She lived a life she can't go back from, A small sigh escaped the undine mouth as she put her sword aside, but kept one finger on it as she wasn't risking everything. "...I can wait another eternity."

She did it before, just for her.

"...Empty rooms are empty for a reason, no matter what state....it cannot be returned how it used too, yet there was life inside of it before.."

The sea and the fog, as similar as they were different.

"Perhaps you speak some truth, but that does not clarify the issue. I asked why. Why waste both your time and effort on waiting for me of all cookies?"

hollyberry cookie regards mystic flour with apprehension. her closest proximity to any of the beasts was eternal sugar cookie, but that doesn't set the tone for the rest of the beasts. in fact, of all of them, she knows mystic flour the least.

no weapon is raised as hollyberry approaches, but her hand is on her sword regardless. "mystic flour cookie," she says. "should i regard you in the same manner i regard eternal sugar cookie? or should i be right to trust my instincts in that you mean to do us harm?"

Mystic Flour Cookie did not move as the other approached with her weapon drawn. However, she failed to fully suppress a grimace at the others words. "I would much rather you treat me as an enemy than however you 'regard' Eternal Sugar Cookie."

Of course, having information on someone did not mean it was accurate. With the way Eternal Sugar spoke, one might be falsely led to believe the obsession was entirely mutual.

"His decision to give you a gift only proves the extent of your deception! Do you think me a fool?! I faced your twisted illusions for myself- I know well what you are capable of." He hardly expected a reaction, not from her, but he grit his teeth and dug his heels in all the same. How Pure Vanilla had managed to get tangled up in this was beyond him, but he would not stand for it. Particularly if 'getting acquainted' was anything like his own encounter with said Queen of Spiders.

Not to her, of course, she can only sigh at his ignorance. Still, she doubts the true beast of deceit would take it well.

"Do you even hear me?" No, likely not. "You genuinely believe that if I held such power over your ally, I would use it to... what? Gain fleeting trinkets? Drink tea? Play little card games?"

Plenty of cookies have consumed her tea and been just fine! A lucky few have even found in enlightening
