girl from facebook writes that...now, what exactly is wrong with that, in my opinion?

Perspective. Different to everyone, right? 

Well, who's saying that what I'm seeing is what you're seeing?

This is difficult to explain, but it's been nagging at me for awhile, so I'll try my best.

The tree's leaves are green. Green is a mixture of blue and yellow. But what if my yellow is actually what looks red to you, but you call it yellow because you see it as what looks yellow and what is called yellow by everyone, and we all see it as when mixed with blue (sky, for example) it creates green. Is this making sense?

If not, I'm going to try and explain it a bit better...

I see something a certain way. What if you saw it a different way, but by the way I'm describing it, it sounds exactly the same? 

I was using what I just said about colours into looser terms. So, I see something as green, and so do you, but imagine what I see is different from what you see, although we call it the same. 

Another example. Blond jokes. Blond to me could be brunette to you, derived from brown, but brown could look yellow to you, but still we're thinking that we're thinking exactly the same way. 

But, how do we check this? We can't. As far as science has proven at the moment, what we see is what we see. 

Onto a different yet similar topic...(It's all relative...pardon the pun) who's saying that reality is the same for all of us? Maybe this is a dream...but I'm still posting this and you're still reading it...so who's saying that a dream is the state of fiction in sleep, and reality is the opposite? Language, that's who. 

So, in short, you can't really put yourself in someone else's shoes completely because you don't know what they're seeing and/or how they're interpreting it.

Why is it that you feel the need to create an event on facebook, announcing that you have a new cell phone by making the event "Pins and numbers for PERSONPERSON von PERSONSTEIN" ? Don't you think that if your facebook can be hacked into by a friend that it can also be hacked into by a criminal, and therefore them obtaining all of these numbers? Gee, I have a new phone, so I'm going to put all of my friends in danger! OH YAY! What have we learned from this, boys and girls? When asked for your number online, don't give it, because you don't know who'll see it. Amazing quantities of information can be found out about you through just your basic phone number, so imagine having your identity stolen just through your phone number. I know that this is a drastic measure leaped to, but it happens quicker than that. Just remember that next time you do something like that. 

(Type it into their phone yourself next time you see them, if you're really that close to them).
