Yo, where am I?!

This is my dog, Bruce. He passed away a little under a month ago, on June 24th. Today, July 16th, should have been his 8th birthday.

I was going to bake him a cake. I like to bake. I like the sort of hard work that gets your hands dirty. He likes sweet things. We used to make him ice cream treats by dipping blueberries in plain yogurt and then freezing them. He stared so longingly at all of the chocolate I ever brought into the house. So this year I would've made him a birthday cake. Something dog-friendly. I want to think he would've liked it.

Bruce is my best friend. My family. He came into my life when I was at one of my lowest points. He reminded me what it was like to have meaning and purpose. He made me go outside. He made me talk to people. I made good friends through him meeting other people's dogs. He brought so much joy to so many people's lives. If it wasn't for him I'm not entirely sure I'd be alive today. He's done more for me than he'll ever know. I just hope that we meet again someday. And that someday he can forgive me for letting him down

It's not about being tough on crime, because the absolute toughest most brutal measure you could take against "crime" as a social problem is to alleviate poverty, and increase access to education, healthcare and social mobility.

It's about performing "tough on crime" as an aesthetic by enacting violence against a prop, i.e. minorities and the impoverished, who are fetishized and objectified to represent "crime." They are brutalized as punishment for crime, but never with the purpose of alleviating the problem of crime.

But anime and video game boob jiggling is like. The most uncanny valley shit I've ever seen nine times out of ten. You would think people this horny about tits would have actually looked at some but I guess not.
