Some dyadic people (and types of intersex people who are more likely to describe themselves as having a birth defect or a medical condition) want to sever the ties between intersex people and other LGBTQIA+ people, despite our shared history of oppression (literally, it’s the exact same history. We were always in this together.) and the fact that the intersex movement (which is a fuck-you to the dyadics who want to see us cut up and shut up, as well as those intersex people who hate themselves so much that they deny anything about their anatomy being, for lack of a better word, androgynous) worked hard to align with the LGBTQIA+ and especially the trans movements since the 80s or 90s.

It’s no coincidence, believe me. They attempt medical conversion therapy on us BEFORE WE’RE EVEN BORN.
